Sometimes, I really want to work on my art, but the business that keeps my lights on calls me! I am an educator, so during the pandemic I am teaching online to four different classes. I’m teaching two senior English courses, Creative Writing and Theory of Knowledge IB – I. It is a lot of work balancing the needs and demands of my position and producing the art that keeps my spirit afloat. However, it’s in my DNA – I couldn’t do one without the other. I’ve been living as a creative spirit since my childhood. No matter the art, I’ve done it.
But sometimes… the art pulls me so strongly, that I have to stop everything and sing, dance, create, paint… everything!
